QUESTIONS?
FAQ
At Ocean Wind Tribe, we want you to arrive at the ocean with peace of mind and all
the information you need. Here we answer the most frequently asked questions:
What do the kitesurfing packages include?
All our packages include full equipment (kite, bar, board, harness, helmet, and impact vest) and transportation from your hotel to our facilities. The only exception is the “Discovery” package, which does not include transportation.
Do I need to bring my own wetsuit?
We recommend bringing your own wetsuit for hygiene reasons, but don’t worry: we’ll always have one available for you if you need it.
What is the difference between the packages?
Discovery: A fast and fun 45-minute experience on the water, ideal for trying kitesurfing without theory.
First Approach: A 3-hour lesson (theory + surf), perfect for beginners.
Show Me More: A 6-hour training session, recommended if you’ve taken lessons before and want to advance.
Let’s Do This!: A 9-hour intensive course, designed to take you from beginner to independent rider.
Independence Day: A 15-hour session to achieve complete independence at sea, with a sunset downwind option.
Are the classes private or group?
We offer both options: private (one-on-one with the instructor, using a radio) or group (min/max 2 people). Depending on the package, you can choose the option that best suits your needs.
In what languages can I take classes?
Our instructors teach lessons in Spanish, English, Italian, French, and Portuguese, so you can enjoy the experience without language barriers.
